So, surprise, surprise! My desire to get to Cuba, and specifically to Baracoa, is once again thwarted. The SUPs cancelled their trip and I’m back to figuring out how to get there. But get there, I will.
In the meantime, my faithful followers might be wondering why I’m so determined on going to Baracoa, a small city in northeast Cuba.
If you’re a naturalist, historian, or simply an adventurous traveler, you’ve heard of Baracoa, Cuba, the site which inspired Christopher Columbus to write that it was the most beautiful place he had ever seen.
That’s where I’m going, if I can figure out how.
