Amazing to see the number and size of packages Cubans on my Tampa flight to Havana took to relatives and friends on the island (see last picture of crowd waiting at the José Martí International Airport) TV sets, clothing, bedsheets…you name it,I saw it get checked in to our American Airlines plane.
After a brief panic moment wondering how much cargo would keep us safely in the air, I settled down into enjoying the experience.
